Xiaomi is
holding a significant event tomorrow, August 10, where the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 and
Mi Pad 5 tablet are expected to be unveiled. The smartphone had previously been
teased with an under-display selfie camera, but today the company released two
new teasers to promote the technology.
The tablet
was also featured in various teasers, with Xiaomi claiming that it will have
outstanding sound, as well as an external keyboard and a stylus, which were
previously announced.
A leaked
photo of a Mi Mix 4 case confirms what we already knew: the Mi Mix 4 would have
a square-ish camera island but no rear display like the Mi 11 Ultra. A 108MP
main camera, a periscope lens, and an ultra-wide-angle shooter are believed to
be included in the arrangement.
We'll have
to wait till tomorrow to find out which of the rumors about a 50MP main camera
with a Samsung ISOCELL GN1 sensor is true.
While
teasers from Saturday confirmed the presence of a keyboard, a leaked photo
unveiled the whole look of the tablet, which features a dual-circle camera
design similar to that seen on a number of Mi and Redmi smartphones.
The tablet
also showed up on Geekbench, indicating that it has a Snapdragon 870 processor.
The gadget with the model number M2105K81AC received a single core score of
1,008 and a multi-core score of 3,273 on the multi-core test.
The costs
of these two mobile devices are the big unknown, and we'll find out more
tomorrow at the launch, which starts at 19:30 local time or 13:30 GMT.
